📋 Draw Calendar
🔔 ACTIVE NOW: Draw Results Released
Through May 31
Results posted to online account. Points credited if unsuccessful. Non-residents notified by mail or online.
Utah preference points accumulate with each unsuccessful application. Apply annually — Henry Mountains LE deer now requires 20–25+ points. CWMU public draw (10%) is separate from LE draw.
🤝 CWMU — Cooperative Wildlife Management Units
Utah's CWMU program opens private ranch lands to public hunters via a state-managed drawing. 10% of CWMU tags go to public draw applicants — the remaining 90% are directed by landowners and typically require a paid guided hunt.
Public Draw (10%)
Apply through the standard UDWR draw at wildlife.utah.gov. Same application window as LE licenses. Tag prices same as LE tags.
Landowner-Directed (90%)
Purchased through the ranch/outfitter. Guided hunts typically run $5,000–$15,000+. Contact CWMU ranches directly for booking availability.
⚠️ Private Land Warning: CWMU units are on private ranches. Accessing CWMU land without a valid CWMU tag is trespass — even if adjacent to public land. Know your boundaries before hunting.

⚖️ Legal Compliance Required
- Verify all regulations with state fish & game before hunting.
- HuntScore™ scores are forecasts, not guarantees of animal activity or harvest success.
- Draw odds are historical — actual odds may vary year to year.
- PeakScout does not replace hunter safety education or state licensing requirements.
- Utah contains significant tribal co-management areas and trust lands — Ute Mountain Ute, Uintah and Ouray Ute, Navajo Nation (Bears Ears area), and Southern Paiute. CWMU private land boundaries must be strictly observed — unauthorized access to CWMU ranch land is trespass regardless of public land appearance.
